After breakfast at hotel, visit Royal Palace was built in 1866, gleaming in golden color, it is one of Phnom Penh’s most splendid architectural achievements. The Silver Pagoda which is nearly 6 tons is a wooden temple which originally built by King Norodom.
And then proceed to visit Independence Monument which is an Angkorian style tower that attracts many tourists for its peculiar looking, but its unique style distinguishes it from all the other buildings in the city.
In the afternoon visit to National Museum, Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21). End of the day by Visiting AEON Mall, the shopping center in Phnom Penh
After breakfast, Visit Cheung Ek Killing fields, the site of a former orchard and mass grave of victims of the Khmer Rouge – Killed between 1975s-1979s, Wat Phnom, the historical monument of Phnom Penh was built in 1372, and stands 27 metres above the ground. It is the tallest religious structure in the city. Lunch at local restaurant; after lunch back to your hotel for refresh and check out.
Depart to Siem Reap (6hours drive) you will have a chance to visit the spider market, Kampong Kdei bridge. Arrive Siem Reap and dinner at local restaurant; check in to your hotel and free at your own exploration to Night market & Pub-Street.
After breakfast at hotel, visit Angkor Thom that includes the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Terrace of Leper King and Terrace of Elephant. Continue to Ta Prohm temple a.k.a roots temple that popularized by Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider movie.
Afternoon, visit the World’s Wonder, the Angkor Wat. End of the day with a climb to the summit of Bakheng Hill to view a spectacular sunset over Angkor Wat .Overnight at your hotel.
After breakfast, early departure to Phnom Penh. On the way you will enjoy a boat trip at Tonle Sap Lake, Get on a boat and ride down the Kompong Phluk River and into the main village – home to approximately 3000 people earning life from the waters.
There are a few schools, a large pagoda and many stilted homes towering some 9 meters high to adapt to the changing water levels. It is a lovely peaceful place to visit anytime of the year, as well as seeing how a vast majority of Cambodians live as fishermen or farmers and get an insight into their way of life.
We then move to smaller boats and row through the flooded forest of Kompong Phluk into Tonle Lake. We’ll see the small floating village which moves in and out depending on the water levels, as the community works around the seasonal variance of the great lake as the actual level of the lake can vary by up to 10 meters..
Lunch at local restaurant in Kampongthom; after lunches continue your journeys to Phnom Penh arrive and dinner at local restaurant. Departure to Phnom Penh Airport
